In a Heartbeat
Bonnie and Clyde were convulsed with laughter. Bonnie laughed so hard she had tears in her eyes. "Horniness?"
Clyde couldn't talk. He was holding his stomach - it hurt from laughing. He kept jabbing a finger toward the screen and guffawed.
"Oh my God," Bonnie exclaimed, wiping her eyes. "She kicked him... she was trying to get him to make love to her and she kicked him! Who says women don't belong in combat?" she snorted.
"She fights dirty!" Clyde exclaimed, calmer now and touched his crotch gingerly, feeling empathy with the Admiral, but extraordinarily grateful his balls were intact.
"She's magnificent! That's what I call a Marine!
JJ was lying on his side, both hands between his thighs. His breathing was still a little harsh but he was grateful he still had some pride. He hadn't screamed in pain.
Ollie kneeled on the bed next to him. "Horniness?" she laughed, in spite of herself. "I'm sorry, Admiral. I... I don't know why I overreacted. I... you know I was trained as a kick-ass Marine..."
"I wished you had kicked my ass, Ollie, not my..." Damn! My balls are killing me!
"I guess we're not going to be able to... uh... I mean, not right away, anyway," she blushed.
"No, we're not!" he barked, reminding himself that if they did... do that... follow the instructions... he'd give the order, not Ollie. He'd... Give the order? To make love? Making love shouldn't be... God Almighty! I've lost it! What was I thinking?
"Sir, I..." She touched his shoulder, wanting to make him feel better, but short of massaging his...
"Stand down, Marine!" he barked, then calmed immediately, trying to get his breath and his temper under control. "Under the circumstances, I don't think you should touch me, Colonel."
"I'm not going to... I mean, I just want to apologize. Are you getting any better?"
"Ollie," he said a lot softer. "If you touch me, I'm going to... it's hard enough..." Jesus! Wrong word! "Please don't make this any harder than necessary." Goddammit! He gave up, groaned and rolled onto his stomach. His hands still clutched his groin, as if holding his genitals insured nothing would break and fall off.
She lay down beside him, her mouth close to his ear and whispered. "Do we have a deadline on when we have to... um...?"
"Not that I know of," he groaned, aware that her soft body was touching his again.
"But the sooner we do this, the sooner we get to leave, right?" she persisted.
"Mmmm," he groaned, his nostrils filling with the scent of her, his palms already itching to touch her. He was acutely aware that the feeling in his groin was swiftly moving from dull ache to sharp need.
"I... I'd like to..."
"Forget it, Ollie. It's not gonna' happen."
"There has to be a way out of here. We don't have to compromise our integrity."
"Integrity?" she asked. "Admiral, I don't have any integrity when it comes to you."
"You don't?" He turned his head to look at her. "What do you mean, you don't have any integrity?"
"I'm always disappointing you," she explained. "You're always angry with me. Just when things seem to be working well, I do something that makes you angry... I disappoint you all over again. You must think the worst of me," she elaborated. "And... I jumped all over you and I assaulted you. I don't have any integrity when it comes to you."
"Ollie," he murmured, ignoring the ache in his groin and turning, pulled her into a close embrace. "I'm not disappointed in you. I'm... you've had a few difficult weeks and while I expect you to...
"You feel sorry for me? Is that it?" She was on the verge of tears again.
"No," he said softly, stroking her hair with one hand, her back with the other. "I don't feel sorry for you, Ollie. We all go through some rough times. You... have had more than your share."
"What do you feel about me, Admiral?" she asked, desperate to know, and afraid he'd tell her something she really didn't want to hear.
There was no sense denying it. He did have feelings for her. Beating around the bush wasn't going to make their situation any easier.
"I'm very fond of you, Olivia Meadows," he said softly, afraid to say more. "I hope you'll always... be in my life. I... I'd like to be more than your C.O. - more than your friend." He cupped her face, tilting her head back so she couldn't avoid looking at him. "And I'd like to..."
"You'd like to fuck me," she said bluntly.
"Yes!" Bonnie shouted in her soundproof room. "Go girl! Go for the gold! You can do this!"
Clyde burst out laughing, as did the other four members of the observation team. "Madam," he intoned. "You are embarrassing us."
"Yeah, right," she snorted and began to hum a familiar tune.
There were more titters when they recognized the Marine Corps anthem - "From the halls of Montezuma, to the shores of Tripoli," some of them hummed along.
Clyde turned to the group monitoring the computers and clucked his tongue at them. "Have you no shame?" he chuckled.
