Staples

I often have unexpected company who stay for a meal and sometimes, I just don't feel like cooking so I try to keep a lot of staples. This makes it easier to throw a decent meal together at the last minute, especially if you don't have fresh ingredients available, i.e., veggies. Also, when I get the urge to cook or bake, I like to have things handy. The following is a list of them. Your staples probably don't include all of my items and I probably don't have some of the items you have.
